We offer a wide range of Nursing Service
Home Support & Personal Care:
General hygiene i.e. oral care, personal grooming, dressing
Bathing and Toileting assistance
Escort to/from appointments
Ambulation (approved exercises)
Turning/repositioning i.e. as required
Recording activities and possible changes in client’s health
Provide safety and security
Provide friendly companionship, emotional support
Play games i.e. cards, board games, reading
Housekeeping:
Laundry, ironing and mending
Making bed, changing linens
Vacuuming
Cleaning floors i.e. sweeping, washing, waxing etc.
Dusting and general picking up
Kitchen and bathroom cleaning
Physical Rehabilitation:
Registered kinesiologists will provide an in-home assessment and individualized exercise program for clients who have difficulty leaving their home.
Each client will be taught exercises to help improve their muscle strength and to help keep them mobile and active in order to improve their quality of life.
Groceries and Meal Preparation:
Grocery shopping
Meal preparation and feeding
Help Implementing Prescribed Diets
Social Transportation:
Allows client to participate in social activities, in response to the client’s basic social, recreational or personal needs.
These may include transportation to:
Church services
Funerals
Banking institutions
Occasional visits to friends/relatives
Community centers
Special occasion shopping
Doctor and dental appointments
Disability Care:
Provide individuals of all ages with physical or developmental disabilities with personal care and physical and emotional security to allow them to function independently in their home.
Respite Care:
Respite care services are available in order to provide short-term relief to your primary caregiver. Services are available for up to four weeks.
Foot Care:
We provide comprehensive foot care including cutting and filing nails, treatments of infection and general foot health.
Alzheimer Care:
We are equipped to help with many forms of dementia. Karp Homecare can ease the burden of responsibility improving the quality of life for the client and family
Parkinson Care:
Karp Homecare can ease the burden of responsibility improving the quality of life for the client and family.
Post-Surgical Care:
Post surgical care services are available in order to assist individuals with personal care needs, housekeeping duties, and rehabilitation. If needed, a registered Kinesiologist will visit the individual in order to design a rehabilitation program to restore mobility and strength.
Palliative Care:
We provide professional palliative care services. Our qualified nursing staff and compassionate care aides work together to provide a comprehensive service.
