Disability Care:
Provide individuals of all ages with physical or developmental disabilities with personal care and physical and emotional security to allow them to function independently in their home.

Respite Care:
Respite care services are available in order to provide short-term relief to your primary caregiver. Services are available for up to four weeks.

Foot Care:
We provide comprehensive foot care including cutting and filing nails, treatments of infection and general foot health.

Alzheimer or Parkinson Care:
We are equipped to help with many forms of dementia. Karp Homecare can ease the burden of responsibility improving the quality of life for the client and family

Post-Surgical Care:
Post surgical care services are available in order to assist individuals with personal care needs, housekeeping duties, and rehabilitation. If needed, a registered Kinesiologist will visit the individual in order to design a rehabilitation program to restore mobility and strength.

Palliative Care:
We provide professional palliative care services.  Our qualified nursing staff and compassionate care aides work together to provide a comprehensive service.

We can provide escort service to basic social, recreational or personal activities such as banking, religious services, medical appointments, the beauty salon or shopping.

Errand services ‑. Our caregivers can pick up prescriptions, run out to the store, pick up dry cleaning, and anything else that their client requires.

Grocery shopping ‑ Grocery shopping can be a long and strenuous process — from getting in and out of the car to pushing the cart around and carrying the heavy bags into the house. Assistance with this task has another benefit in that it helps ensure that the proper foods are being purchased for nutritional purposes.

Physical Rehabilitation

Karp Home Care employs registered kinesiologists that will provide an in-home assessment and individualized exercise program for clients who have difficulty leaving their home.

Each client will be taught exercises to help improve their muscle strength and to help keep them mobile and active in order to improve their quality of life.

Housekeeping

Karp senior care specializes in elderly home making and upkeep services.

Light housekeeping ‑ Our caregivers will clean the kitchen sink, appliances, countertops, and cupboards; clean the bathroom showers, tubs, and toilets; vacuum and/or mop the floor, dust the shelves, empty the trash, make the beds and tidy the rooms

Laundry and change bed linens ‑ Our caregivers will wash, dry, fold, and put away the laundry and change the bed linens.

Meal preparation and clean up ‑ Many seniors often do not feel compelled to prepare and eat a well-balanced meal for themselves. Our caregivers can prepare hot, delicious, nutritious meals and provide companionship during the meal.

Care for houseplants ‑ Many seniors experience depression, helplessness and boredom ‑ studies have shown that plants help to decrease depression while increasing appetite and an “overall happy quotient”. Our caregivers can help you or your loved one nurture and care for plants (indoors and outdoors).

We offer a wide range of Nursing services including Wound Care, Palliative Care and Respite Care by both RN’s & LPN’s.
